Navel Theory
Origins of CiVilization
Navel Theory puts forth that “navels of the earth” and “navel stones” at ancient sites around the world mark the birthplaces of civilization by an ancient and globally active cult referred to here as the “birdman navel civilizer cult.”
Members of this cult identify themselves in several ways but the most prolific is through figurines and statues with their hands meeting around their navel. Birdlike civilizer deities are also believed to be members of the Birdman Navel Civilizer Cult, including Thoth, Quetzalcoatl, Viracocha, Hotu Motua, the Akpallu and the Seven Sages of Mesopotamia and the Seven Sages of India or the Saptarishi.
The Birdman Navel Civilizer Cult appears to have been active at Easter Island, Gobekli Tepe, Cusco in Peru, Monte D’acoddi in Sardinia, Delphi in Greece, Mesopotamia, ancient Egypt and even ancient India and the Indus Valley. Navel theory claims that the Birdman Navel Civilizer Cult is in many ways directly responsible for the civilizations that would ultimately be birthed there. These civilizations all seem to spontaneously erupt in agriculture, art, astronomy and ambitious stoneworks. Through the lens of Navel Theory we see that all these things, agrictulture, astronomy, masonry, etc were in the toolkit of the Birdman Navel Civilizer Cult. This cultural tookit was then transferred to local people when they would arrive in a location to mark a Navel or an Omphalos. This is where they resolved to start a civilization.
The Birdman Navel Civilizer Cult, as we will see, went to great lengths to make sure their story would never be forgotten. Around the globe they established Navels of the Earth at Gobekli Tepe, Cusco, Easter Island, Egypt, Mesopotamia, India, and some how these names have managed to persist through time to the present moment. And they carved a “navel hands” position into statues and figurines so prolifically that many of them have reached us today from many civilizations.
This website is a quick reference guide to various artifacts, motifs, themes, statues, myths viewed through Navel Theory.

Navel Hands
The Mark of the Birdman Navel Civilizer
Urfa Man at Gobekli Tepe. The T pillars of Gobekli Tepe. Just about every Moai ever carved. The figurines of Monte D’acoddi. The Vinca figurines.
These figures are in a birthing position with their hands, drawing attention to the navel, birthplace of all humanity.
The Omphalos or navel stone could be seen as an egg, the symbol of birth to a bird.
